Ben Crittenden | IT Professional
Who is Ben Crittenden?
I'm Ben Crittenden, an IT professional focused on web development, systems administration, and project management. I enjoy designing and deploying practical tools that make people more productive in their work. Whether I'm managing infrastructure, improving existing systems, or leading projects from idea to delivery, my goal is to connect technology with real-world business needs. Python is my primary development language, and I use it to build automations, data-driven utilities, and full web applications that save time and reduce manual effort.
What is Ben Crittenden's experience?
I have experience working in web development, systems administration, project management, and secondary education. I currently serve as the Technical Support Manager at a company that provides managed services for web development, digital marketing, and e-commerce. In that role, I manage support, administer the systems that host client websites, and manage internal and client-facing projects. Before moving into my current position, I spent seven years teaching at the secondary level and three years as a K–12 substitute teacher, experience that sharpened my communication, stakeholder management, and training skills. Earlier in my career, I worked in IT support for a department at my alma mater, the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
